Dr. Constance M. Mobley is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. She is a transplant surgeon and surgical critical care physician. Dr. Mobley earned her MD and PhD in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine 2003. She completed her General Surgery residency and fellowship in Surgical Care at the University of Michigan and subsequently, she went on to complete a fellowship in Abdominal Multi-Organ Transplant and Hepatobiliary Surgery at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.

Dr. Mobley holds several academic and leadership positions. She is currently the Associate Surgical Director of Liver Transplantation at J.C. Walter Jr. Transplant Center at Houston Methodist Hospital, the Medical Director of the Surgical & Liver Intensive Care Unit, and the Program Director for the Surgical Critical Care Fellowship. She is also an executive member of the Houston Methodist Board of Directors. She is the recipient of multiple awards, including the Exemplary Faculty Teaching Award. Dr. Mobley's primary research interests include the management and transplantation of critically ill patients with liver failure, particularly acute-on-chronic-liver failure, and mitigation of peri-operative complications.
